Sport Society Eibar is a soccer club based in the town of Eibar. The club has recently taken the decision to concentrate all its facilities in its own sports complex where both the first team and the grassroots soccer can work in conditions in line with the First Division.
Following the analysis of various sites for this purpose and consultations with the assembly of members, Sociedad Deportiva Eibar has set in motion the urban planning and execution of its sports city on land in the Areitio area (Mallabia).
It is proposed the development of 5 “11-a-side soccer” fields, around a central space that will house common facilities such as parking, access control and the club’s central offices, as well as a building exclusively for the first team.
The main access to the facility will be from the foral road through a new traffic circle. The exit for vehicles is planned for the local Mallabarrena-Areitio road.
Next to the main access, an adequate surface parking lot has been designed to absorb the operational needs of the activity resulting from the Traffic Study. This parking lot has capacity for 8 buses and 240 parking spaces for vehicles. In addition, a parking space of approximately 14 parking spaces has been provided in the maintenance access area.
The main area of the project is the current Alto de Areitio road junction between the N-634 road, the BI-3342 local road to Berriz and the municipal road to the town of Mallabia.
The purpose of the contract is to carry out a road safety audit consisting of a detailed, systematic and technical independent verification of the safety of the design features of a road infrastructure project. This audit is carried out by an Auditor or team of Auditors accredited in accordance with the provisions of Decree 80/2014, in order to certify that all roads enter into service in the maximum possible safety conditions.
